Question: Do you have a favorite Sandra Bullock movie?

I do, in fact, one of my top five favorite movies of all time is a Sandra Bullock movie (While You Were Sleeping). It is one of my favorites because of Sandra Bullock's character and how she brought a vulnerability and likability to her. In most of her movies she almost always gives a performance that is real, relatable and never patronizing. She portrays characters you really want to know.

The Blind Side is no exception. Based on the real life of NFL football player Micheal Oher and the Touhy family, the movie takes us on a journey of a family forming even though the family didn't go looking to expand. The movie did take some liberties with the truth, and once I found out what they were I was a little disappointed. However, The Blind Side still draws you in and moves you. It is a good story no matter what truth was stretched.

I saw this way after the Oscars and didn't know what to expect since she won the Academy Award. Although I was bracing myself for a huge emotional monologue or something that usually cues the Oscar buzz. But the opposite happened. She played the role in a understated, yet, powerful approach.

If you haven't seen this movie yet - rent it. It will make you smile, choke up and cheer. Also, if you are a college football fan, you might like the scene with all the football coaches.

Favorite thing: How Sandra Bullock's character handles herself when she gets emotional.

Least favorite thing: The change in the truth about his football talent.

Possibility of a sequel? No

Did the previews ruin it or show too much? Most of the funny lines and some of the tender moments were shown.

Rating: PG-13

Review: 8 out of 10
